WORSHIP SERVICES

First Presbyterian Church of Merchantville offers a unique setting of cathedral ceiling, walnut interior and ornate stained glass in which to seek and find God.

We openly welcome children and visitors into our fellowship — encouraging them to explore their faith in Jesus Christ among the challenges and joys of living in today’s world.

Worship Service

• 10:00 a.m. Worship Service in the Sanctuary featuring the Chancel Choir and Praise Team. This service blends both traditional and contemporary worship.  

• A focused Children's Message is featured every week.

• The Sacrament of Holy Communion is offered on the first Sunday of each month.

Sunday Schoool

Sunday School is available for 2-year-olds to 12th-graders during the 10:00 a.m. Service September through May. Our teachers consist of volunteers who work diligently to ensure a loving and nurturing environment for all of the children. Each classroom has 2 adult teachers, with at least one being a member of our congregation. All teachers and assistants must have a background check completed.

Fellowship Time/Coffee Hour

Visitors, members and friends are invited to gather after Worship Service in the Hearth Room to share refreshments and greet new and old friends.
